Abstract

The optimization of supply chains in the con-struction industry is crucial for enhancing operational effi-ciency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely project delivery. This research investigates strategies and technologies that can improve supply chain performance in construction projects. It highlights the importance of efficient demand forecasting, inventory management, and supplier coordination to mitigate delays and shortages of critical materials. The study also em-phasizes the integration of advanced technologies such as Ar-tificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and data analytics to improve decision-making, monitor supply chain performance in real-time, and predict potential risks. Addi-tionally, the research explores the role of automation, lean construction principles, and sustainable practices in enhanc-ing supply chain management.
